Gold Trust Logo
This is a simple logo/icon design for a real estate trust in Colorado. The client wanted the logo to project stability, simplicity and dependability. He also wanted to be able to utilize it in reverse or black and white.
The pyramid is the simplest, most stable shape there is. Even though it's use may be somewhat cliche, hinting at a design from decades ago, that nostalgic quality also inspires stability and dependability.
Another feature of the icon is the subtle "rising sun" or "setting sun" imagery evoked by the right side of the pyramid.
- If it is darked, we can imagine the sun setting behind the pyramid in the distance to inspire experience and longevity.
- If it is lightened, as in the reverse image, the sun is rising at our back, inspiring a beginning or a change.
